Master trumpeter James O’Donnell and the Tough Talk Mardi Gras Jazz Band will be the featured performers at a free concert on Saturday, March 1 at the Presbyterian Church of Okemos. The event kicks off a long standing tradition at PCO, Jazz Weekend. O’Donnell has entertained Detroit audience for more than 30 years and has performed in more than fifteen countries across North America, Europe, Africa and Asia. While his favorite music genres are Jazz, Big Band Standards, and Blues, his repertoire also includes R&B, Funk, Soul, and Motown.
