Please join us on Saturday, December 10th from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church of Okemos for our annual Alternative Christmas Market. The market features handmade and fair trade gifts from non-profit and charitable organizations. Vendors include Better Way Designs (fair trade), Hmong Crafts, Mayan Women’s Cooperative (Guatemala), Nyaka School for Orphans (Uganda), Simbolei Academy for Girls (Kenya), Solar Circle (Tanzania) and Ukrainian artist Grace Hilyard.
After some shopping, why not stay for some food? We’re joined by Picnic Food Truck (Lansing’s first whole-food truck), immigrant/refugee-run restaurants, plus PCO’s youth group will be offering baked goods. Bring your friends and enjoy the day!
