In June and July, PCO collected 22 pairs of jeans, 18 pairs of sweatpants, 13 pairs of pants and a few pairs of shorts. These were donated to the Love Clothing Center in Lansing and will be distributed, free of charge, to area students in need in August and September.
The Love Clothing Center has been in operation since 1989 and is located at Judson Baptist Church in Lansing. The center provides area children in need with new socks and underwear, new or gently used seasonal clothing, and winter coats.
