Jazz pianist Arlene McDaniel is the scheduled speaker for PCO’s Education Hour on Sunday, February 23. In preparation for Jazz Weekend on March 1 & 2, McDaniel will be speaking about New Orleans Jazz. The presentation is open to adults and senior high students.
McDaniel has been performing and teaching music in the mid-Michigan area and beyond for more than four decades. She was on the faculty at Michigan State University’s Community Music School until 2022. She is a composer as well as a performer.
