As part of our commitment to being a PCUSA Earth Care Congregation, we are tithing on the electricity savings we receive due to our solar panels. This year, the church, as well as individual PCO members, contributed to a new rooftop solar installation benefiting LINCS. LINCS is a nonprofit that provides housing and community support for adults with autism. Members of our Green Teams participated with others from the Capital Area Chapter of Michigan Interfaith Power and Light in the dedication of the 5.7-kilowatt solar system, which was installed on a newly remodeled duplex that is home to two LINCS residents.
