The Peace & Global Witness Offering our church supports provides the tools and resources for us to be peacemakers. For example, PCO’s 25% share of the Offering helps support the mission of Michael and Rachel Ludwig in Niger. 95% of Nigeriens are Muslim and less than 1% are Christian. The Ludwigs’ work has focused on strengthening the community and health of both Muslims and Christians and has met with some successes in dealing with conflict. The Presbytery of Lake Michigan receives 25% of the offering to use in their peacemaking efforts and the remainder goes to Presbyterian Mission Agency of The Presbyterian Church USA. The Offering begins on September 1, 2019 and ends on October 6, 2019 which is World Communion Sunday. Offering envelopes are provided in the pew pockets. Thank you very much for your gifts.
